Do you need a way to organize your monitors? Maybe by country, region, or code, we have you covered.
What you'll learn:
How to group monitors using the search bar.
How to filter monitors using labels.
How to group monitors using the search bar.
Step 1:
First, you'll want to rename your monitors to include a naming extension. Your extension can be anything, but should uniquely categorize your monitors.
For example, you may want to categorize your monitors by country. You can do this by adding the extension - Canada. Then, the next time you search for - Canada the panel will populate those unique monitors.
Step 2:
Search for the prefix to group each of the monitors together.
How to filter monitors using labels.
Labels let you tag monitors and then filter your list to show only the monitors you care about. You can apply one or more labels to any monitor and use the label filter to narrow down your view.
AND / OR logic for label filters
When filtering by multiple labels, you can choose how those labels are combined:
AND mode — shows only monitors that have all of the selected labels. Use this to find monitors that belong to every category you select.
OR mode — shows monitors that have any of the selected labels. Use this to see everything that belongs to at least one of the categories you select.
To toggle between AND and OR, select your labels in the label filter and use the AND / OR toggle that appears alongside the filter. Switch it to match the logic you need.
