Automatically block ads and cookie popups.

Edited

To reduce false alerts on your monitor, you can use the "Block ads and cookie banners" feature in the Settings menu when the job is open. This feature is enabled by default for new monitors and can be disabled by unchecking the checkbox if needed. If the monitor's own ad and cookie blocker blocks the page itself, the check stops immediately and reports a "Blocked by ad blocker" error instead of waiting for a "Website Timeout" error. To fix this, uncheck Block ads and cookie banners in the monitor's Settings menu when the job is open and retry the check. This can happen on advertising or tracking companies' sites, such as Criteo, Taboola or Hotjar.

Our system will block ads and cookie banners on the page automatically without needing to add a Block action. If an ad or cookie banner is not blocked, you'll need to manually remove it using the Block action.
