Why use labels?

Are you managing a variety of clients and projects at any given time? It can be helpful to label your monitors with important keywords to help you organize your workflow. This will allow you to quickly search, filter, and find specific monitors.

Creating and managing labels

Step 1:

Open the label settings

First, navigate to Settings>Labels.

Step 3:

Add or edit the label

Next, Add a new label.

Or modify the emoji, name or color of an existing one. You can also delete a label by clicking on the trashcan icon in the Actions column.

Adding and removing labels from a monitor

Step 1:

Open the label selection

Navigate to the dashboard. Then, hover over the ellipsis icon next to the monitor description and click Add label.

Step 2:

Select a label

Select the labels you want to assign.

Filtering monitors using labels

Step 1:

Open the filter options

To filter by labels, click on the filter icon.

Step 2:

Select the labels

Then, select the labels you want to filter for.

When multiple labels are selected, you can toggle between two matching modes using the AND/OR switch in the label filter section:

  • OR (default): Shows monitors that have at least one of the selected labels.

  • AND: Shows only monitors that have all of the selected labels. This is useful for teams that use multiple labels to precisely categorize monitors.
