Visualping offers a wide range of notification method options, from email to Google Sheet, Webhook and more. This article will show you what options are available as well as how to configure which notification method should be employed for a monitor.

Note that all notification methods, apart from emails, n8n, Webhook, Telegram, MCP, and API, require a paid plan. More details below.

You can send one change alert to up to five destinations per channel for Webhook, Microsoft Teams, Discord, n8n, or Google Sheets. For example, add two Webhook destinations to send the same alert to both.

Step 1:

To change the way you receive alerts from Visualping you will need to open the Notifications settings of a monitor, in that monitor's settings.

Step 2:

From there, choose the ones that you want and configure additional settings per method. Use the test button in the Email or SMS settings to send yourself a sample alert. Slack and Telegram tests also send a sample alert that looks like a real notification. When you paste a valid Discord, Microsoft Teams, Slack webhook, n8n, or Webhook URL into its destination field, that destination switches on automatically. If you turned a destination off by hand, it stays off.

There are many ways to receive alerts with Visualping. Error alerts are not sent to Google Sheets, but they still go to enabled email, SMS, and webhook-style destinations. The default is by emails to the email address of your account, but more options become available with higher subscription plans. In the table below, you will find all notification options we offer, as well as the plan required to gain access to it. Click on the link for each method to learn how to set it up.

By default, email notification is enabled.

• Top ups, and Personal 5K & 10K plans: Users can add one additional email address (CC) to receive email alerts.

• Business plans: All users with access to a workspace will receive email alerts for monitors within that workspace.

On Business plans, alerts are sent to every user assigned to the workspace. However, notifications can be customized:

• Mute Workspace: Each user has the option to mute email alerts for an entire workspace if they no longer wish to receive them.

• Access Control: Only users who are part of the Business plan and have workspace access will receive the email alerts.
